Office of Research provides campus access to resources and is ready to assist our students and faculty in identifying and applying for such opportunities. Proposal Development Angèle Nalbandian, PhD, Principal Editor/Writer in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the University of California Irvine works closely with the clinical faculty, research scientists, post-doctoral scholars, residents and fellows and assists them with abstracts, grant writing and editing (NIH, ICTS, private organizational funding opportunities, etc.) and scientific/clinical manuscripts (reviews, case reports, basic research articles) to ensure stylistic conformity, scientific arguments and successful submissions. Angele coordinates the work of all authors and is responsible for all inquiries and revisions from requested from scientific and medical journals as well as submissions. She also assists principal investigators with IACUC, IRB, and clinical trials protocols.
