Krzysztof Palczewski, PhD receives 2022 ASPET Scientific Achievement Award

The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPECT) has awarded Dr. Krzysztof Palczewski the 2022 Goodman and Gilman Award in Receptor Pharmacology. The award was established to recognize and stimulate outstanding research in pharmacology of biological receptors.

New Paper Published “Inhibition of ceramide accumulation in AdipoR1-/- mice increases photoreceptor survival and improves vision”

The research highlighted the importance of ADIPOR1 ceramidase in the retina, and showed that pharmacological inhibition of ceramide generation can provide a therapeutic strategy for ADIPOR1-related retinopathy.
