Dr. Baruch D. Kuppermann Receives 2025 Roger Steinert, MD Legacy Award at Octane OTF

We are proud to share that Dr. Baruch D. Kuppermann, MD, PhD, Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and Director of the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at UC Irvine, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Roger Steinert, MD Legacy Award at this year’s Octane OC Ophthalmology Tech Forum (OTF).

Presented by Gavin Herbert and Jim Mazzo, this award recognizes individuals who have made a profound and lasting impact on the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Kuppermann received a standing ovation from industry leaders, colleagues, and innovators in celebration of his outstanding contributions to vision science, patient care, and translational research.
